If you’re considering an abortion, we recommend receiving a pre-abortion screening first, which would consist of a sonogram and a nurse consultation. Because 20 percent of pregnancies result in miscarriage, a first-trimester ultrasound will show a few things that can affect your decision:
Is the pregnancy even viable, or has there been a miscarriage?
Is the baby in the uterus, or is it an ectopic pregnancy (which can be life-threatening)?
How far along in the pregnancy are you? (This will affect the abortion procedure available to you.)
We do not provide abortions or refer for them, but one of our registered nurses can speak with you to answer questions you may have regarding abortion procedures and risks. Please call us at 209-353-3247, text 209-259-0742, or make an appointment to speak with us in-person.
Abortion procedures vary depending on how far along you are in your pregnancy.
